Domestic Violence
It's More Than Physical
Abuse
- isolation...controlling who
one sees, where one goes
- emotional
abuse...playing mind games, calling one names
- economic abuse...
giving an allowance, keeping one from getting a job
- sexual
abuse...making one do things against one's will
- threats...making
threats to hurt one emotionally, threatening to commit
suicide
- intimidation...putting one in
fear by using looks, actions, gestures, breaking things
- using
children...degrading one's parenting skills,
using kids to relay
messages
